KIDS PROGRAMS

I.

Toddlers (Ages 3–5) — Building Strong Foundations

Every great journey begins with a strong foundation. Our Toddlers program introduces children to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through fun, engaging games and movement-based activities that develop coordination, balance, and confidence in a safe and encouraging environment. At Grounded Strength, we believe character begins long before advanced techniques. Through age-appropriate instruction, children learn to listen, show respect, encourage others, and develop the self-discipline that will serve them both on and off the mats.

Students will develop

  • ×Balance, coordination, and body awareness
  • ×Basic Jiu-Jitsu movements
  • ×Listening and focus
  • ×Respect for instructors and teammates
  • ×Confidence through positive accomplishment

Our goal is simple: help every child discover that learning can be fun while building a lifelong love for movement and strong character.

II.

Juniors (Ages 6–8) — Growing in Skill & Character

As students mature, so does their understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our Juniors program combines structured technical instruction with exciting drills and games that challenge both the body and the mind. Beyond learning techniques, students are encouraged to practice integrity, perseverance, humility, and teamwork. We celebrate effort just as much as achievement because we believe true success is built through consistent growth.

Students will develop

  • ×Fundamental Jiu-Jitsu techniques
  • ×Athletic coordination and movement
  • ×Self-confidence and resilience
  • ×Respect, responsibility, and discipline
  • ×Healthy friendships and teamwork

Our mission is to help students become stronger — not only as athletes, but as young men and women of character.

III.

Pre-Teens & Teens (Ages 9–13) — Strength Through Discipline

This program prepares students for the next stage of their Jiu-Jitsu journey by expanding both their technical abilities and personal leadership. Students learn advanced techniques, strategic thinking, and situational problem-solving while being challenged to lead by example, encourage younger teammates, and develop the confidence that comes from overcoming adversity. At Grounded Strength, we believe the lessons learned on the mats prepare students for life's challenges far beyond competition.

Students will develop

  • ×Intermediate and advanced Jiu-Jitsu techniques
  • ×Leadership and accountability
  • ×Mental resilience and problem-solving
  • ×Confidence under pressure
  • ×Physical fitness, coordination, and discipline

Our goal is to equip students with the skills and character needed to lead with humility, serve others, and pursue excellence in every area of life.
